Important announcement for the upcoming back-to-back consular outreach missions in Lubbock, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico:

Kababayans who wish to apply for and/or renew their passports, including those who signed up through the Google Form, are encouraged to secure their appointment slots through passport.gov.ph and choose “PCG Houston - Outreach in Lubbock, Texas” or “PCG Houston - Outreach in Albuquerque, New Mexico” as appropriate.

Those requiring other consular services (dual citizenship, notary, and civil registry) are advised to send copies of their requirements to houstonpcg.outreach@gmail.com for prior assessment and further guidance.

Over a shared Filipino meal, a cuisine shaped by centuries of exchange with our Southeast Asian neighbors, the Philippine Consulate General in Houston hosted the Consulates General of Indonesia and Viet Nam for a luncheon of friendship among the resident ASEAN posts in Texas. A fitting expression of steadfast regional camaraderie as the Philippines chairs ASEAN in 2026 under the theme “Navigating Our Future, Together.” 🇵🇭🇮🇩🇻🇳

Consul General Gunther Sales paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Robert Howden, Secretary of State of Texas, to reaffirm the Philippine Consulate’s commitment to deepening the enduring ties between the Philippines and the State of Texas.

During the meeting, Consul General Sales outlined the Consulate’s priority areas for strengthening this partnership, including working closely with the Texas state government on concrete initiatives that recognize the impactful presence and valuable contributions of the Filipino American community across the Lone Star State.

The Consulate looks forward to advancing these shared goals with the Office of the Secretary of State in the months ahead.

The Philippine Consulate General will conduct consular outreach missions in Lubbock, Texas on October 16-17, 2026, and in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 18-19, 2026, to provide consular services to Filipino nationals and Filipino-Americans residing in these areas.

Consular officers will be available to process passport applications and renewals, civil registration documents (reports of births, marriages, and deaths), authentication of documents, dual citizenship, other consular services, as well as overseas voters’ registration in view of the upcoming 2028 Philippine National Elections.
